Malaysia Airlines Signs Multi-Year Services Agreement with Airinmar
Malaysia Airlines has formalized a multi-year partnership with Airinmar, a subsidiary of AAR CORP., to enhance its aircraft warranty management and value engineering capabilities. This collaboration is designed to optimize the airline’s materials management processes by maximizing warranty recoveries, reducing component repair costs, and ultimately lowering overall maintenance expenditures.
Strategic Collaboration to Improve Operational Efficiency
Captain Nasaruddin A. Bakar, Chief Operating Officer of Malaysia Airlines, underscored the strategic importance of this agreement within the airline’s broader efforts to control maintenance costs and boost operational efficiency. He stated, “We welcome this collaboration with Airinmar as part of our ongoing efforts to manage maintenance costs and improve efficiency across our operations. Partnerships like this help us strengthen our supply chain resilience and ensure our operations remain cost-efficient and reliable.”
Matt Davies, General Manager of Airinmar, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing the company’s commitment to supporting Malaysia Airlines in reducing maintenance expenses across its diverse fleet. “We are delighted to add Malaysia Airlines, the flag carrier of Malaysia and one of the most established commercial airlines in Asia, to our global customer base,” Davies remarked.
